And hopefully, it does occur … just on a different card so it will actually be televised.
Why in the world would the UFC add this bout to the super stacked UFC 82 fight card? This would be a great opening fight for any pay per view (PPV) televised card! It would also be a great addition to any UFN card.

I agree John, WTF IS THIS??? The undercard for this event is straight up better than the televised part of UFC 80. This is a complete joke. Just about every fight on this undercard is better than Grove/Rivera which was just on the main card of UFC 80.
And is there a UFC 83 or are they just skipping straight to UFC 84. The prelimary bouts of UFC 83 could be a great event on its own.
And by the way, Leben feels the same way about me, so the man crush is mutual…

Alessio Sakara is a boxer. Not much else. Leben had solid wrestling and ground game to go along with his sriking. I would also say that Leben has heavier hands than Sakara. Sakara has yet to really prove a thing in the UFC (that thing being CONSISTANCY). I also think that Chris Leben has a better jaw than Sakara as well. Chris Leben KO first round, possibly 2nd. I don’t see this fight going past the 2nd. But then again, who thought Leben/Martin would go into the 3rd round….

IThe Arlovski fight has been officially confirmed by O’briens camp. If Leiben vs. Sakara is added to this card, another fight has to be taken off because so far they have 10 fights to be rumored for this event. With Henderson and Silva scheduled for 5 rounds, I dont see anyway the UFC would put 10 fights on a card. A fight is going to have to get bumped off this card.
Also, they May 8 event has been cancelled. So the canadian event will now be UFC 83.
I dunno what they will do with the mega fight between Bisping vs. Mcarthy and the other couple scheduled fights. Will they be added to the canadian event? Eill they ever even happen? We’ll see.

Jesse is going to start working with you guys on monitoring/editing MMAcraze. For the most part we’re thrilled — there’s some great stuff going up and the blog is really start to get some nice looks. There are some kinks, however, that we need to iron out before we start featuring on Mania. I think we’re about two weeks away from that if Jesse can get up to speed and everything begins to fall into place.
Jesse will be the one who eventually selects what pieces are selected and put on Mania. In addition, since this your site, feel free to come up with some features or create an identity (much like mania has the quick quotes, props, predictions, betting columns, etc.) for the site. Again, it’s up to you guys. This will be what you make it. Def. brainstorm some ideas if you think it’s necessary or create “beats” that everyone covers — whatever.
So we have to get together and get organized. Figure out who is doing what, so that we all don’t post the same things. Lets give it a couple days so that everyone can read this and then we are gonna have to figure some things out.

Unfortunately I see this fight going down the same road as some of Leben’s past fights; He is losing the entire fight and then catches his opponent with a bomb.

I actually have what one would call “an addictive personality” so I really don’t gamble all that much. The reason I got rid of the Internet at my house is because of online poker. I was spending too much time on my laptop…. However, I was making some decent money doing it, the wife just got a bit annoyed that I wasn’t showing her the proper attention……….
As far as Football betting, I just do these “slips” that my ol’ man gets from his bookie. I pick 4 games and it pays 10 to 1 if I get all 4. Corny, I know, but I have to set limits…
I REALLY wish I could have hooked you up with the referal bonus, I’m actually mad that I didn;t ask first…… Oh well…… I also wish that that site had ALL the fights, not just a select one or two…
ViolentMike: dont worry about the Bonus. i have an addictive personality as well, thats why I stopped betting football. But with the superbowl being the last game of the season and u being a giants fan….why not throw a beaner on the G-men.
If you win that bet, do not take the money out of the account…let it ride. U r a smart mma dude, so keep that money in the account for sure shot mma match ups. Bet them, build up your account and then you can start taking more chances, betting on underdogs that you feel strongly about that you probably wouldnt have the stones to bet, if you werent playing with the “houses money”. Also once your account builds up, you can start betting more amounts on what are “sure thing” match ups in your mind.
I started my account off with a $100 dollar bet, I now sometimes bet $500 on fights, and I do really good doing it. If I hadn’t build up my account off of House money, I would never have had the stones to bet on underdogs like Kongo over Cro cop.
If you win your G-men bet, build your account up. for the next 5 UFC events bet on like 1 sure thing for each event. After that you can start to have some real fun, winning good money, taking more cances….all off of an initial $100 investment on the G-men…. i dont want to jinx you but I really see the G-men playing the Pats tough and keeping the game close. I actually think that the Giants will have a shot to win the game in the 4th quarter, whether they capitalize on that opportunity remains to be seen…I really dont see the Patrs winning by more then 10 points….What line did u end up getting on the game anyway?
