Man, the next two and a half months for us MMA fans are going to be incredible. We have UFC 81 Saturday, and after that we have UFC 82: Pride of a Champion with a Middleweight Showdown that we all have wanted to see for a long time with Anderson Silva and Dan Henderson having a middleweight unification match.
UFC 83: GSP vs. Serra II taking place for the 1st time ever, in Canada. This fight will provide us a huge rematch to answer most of the dying questions we all have about GSP and Matt Serra.
The question I am leaving out on the table is… Which is a better Card UFC 82 or UFC 83?
Let’s showcase both cards shall we?

Johnathan Goulet vs. Kuniyoshi Hironaka
In my opinion, I think you would have to lean towards UFC 82 as the better card. I mean when you have Koscheck, Leben and possibly Diego, Kongo or Andrei on the undercard as well, you would think that this card is the best right?
But I think UFC 83 is very close. We get to see Shogun hopefully fight at 100% and we might be able to see the Shogun we saw in Pride. We will get to see this “revenge” match between Matt Serra and GSP. Rich Franklin is on this card and he always puts on a great show. The UFC 83 fight only has 8 fights, and maybe 1 or 2 more will be added on to even buff it up. I like Maia/Herman on that Canadian card considering the UFC 83: McCarthy vs. Bisping event crashed and burned.
So I will leave it into your hands to let me know which event has the better card. UFC 82 or UFC 83.
P.S. I will be attending UFC 82, so if you are going as well, let me know in the comments section. Also. Mike and Phil, I am very excited to see your predictions of UFC 81.
UFC 82 BY A LANDSLIDE!!!! I think that 82 will be the best event, top to bottom, of the entire year. I am truely jealous of the fans in Ohio. I live in CT and get a main event of Bisping vs Evans. That fight would barely even make the telelivsed portion of UFC 82!!!!
Mr.NC-17, you are one lucky person!
I will go one step further then u mike. I think on paper UFC 82 is the best event in the history of the UFC…thats how highly I think of it
I will be happy to do the predictions for UFC 82. I couldnt do it for UFC 81…I change my mind everyday about how I see those fights going, but I got a whole lot to say about UFC 82!
i have to go with ufc 82 being better mainly cause of more big names and plus the fact that i will be there even though i’ll be almost top row of the area it doesn’t matter i’ll be in the show
